Lyrics

8:45 in the morning
Southbound on 99
Car tires squeal without warning
Crushed metal shattered glass
Sirens scream
In the morning light
Life it changed
In a blink of an eye

Here I am
I'm one of those
People who knows
how fragile life can be
I survived i was lucky this time
Cause when you've seen the things that I have seen
You change your mind you start listening
This moment is the only one you know
When you see the end of the road like me
When you've seen the end of the road nothing will ever be
The same

Slow-motion doctors and nurses
Twirl around my hospital bed
The air fills with medical jargon
Swirling inside my head
AII I want is to go back to normal
Or was my normal just naive

Here I am
I'm one of those
People who knows
how fragile life can be
I survived i was lucky this time
Cause when you've seen the things that I have seen
You change your mind you start listening
This moment is the only one you know
When you see the end of the road like me
When you've seen the end of the road nothing will ever be
The same
