ABOUT THE SHOW City Winery Nashville presents An Evening With Holly Bruce, Tai Shan & Sarah Clanton live on Saturday, April 22nd at 7 PM.
Holly Bruce is a Nashville native singer-songwriter & composer with roots in Pop & Americana. While studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, she discovered a love for healing and spiritual arts which have influenced her craft. Her soulful voice & lyrics convey a wide range of emotional depth as she often shares of her own healing journey. The melodies and hooks in Holly’s songwriting are intriguing and memorable. You may have heard Holly’s song “Echoes” recorded live on Lightning 100. Tai Shan is an Americana songwriter whose music has been featured in Billboard Magazine, American Songwriter, Americana UK, and on NPR. Based out of Nashville, her songwriting focuses on positive messages. Tai Shan has toured the United States, Canada Mexico and even performed for the pope. She often shares the stage with husband, Austin, who sings harmonies, beatboxes and plays trumpet. A showcase focused on Americana & Roots songwriters, hosted by award-winning artist Melody Walker. After 10 years touring and recording with her critically acclaimed band Front Country, Melody is staying close to home here in East Nashville co-writing with friends and workshopping new music. Winner of the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest and Telluride Band Contest, her songs have been recorded by Molly Tuttle, Della Mae and more & been used on shows like American Idol.

Catch her, and three of Nashville's best songwriters in the round every Tuesday from 8 - 9:45pm and a set from a featured writer from 10 - 11pm. You just might hear the very first performance of your new favorite song!

Join Nashville songwriter Tai Shan for a four-week online songwriting course designed to get you writing a new song every week! During each session, Tai will provide you with a prompt to use as inspiration to write a song, poem, or chord progression. The following week you will bring your creation to share with the group (either live or with a basic recording from your phone). Scared you will not know what to write? In every class we will explore the tools you need in your songwriter’s tool chest to work as a professional songwriter. Beginning songwriters are welcome! Some knowledge of an instrument is helpful but not mandatory.
